I come from Trento, a city located in northern Italy, not far from Lake Garda. The territory has many forms of turism, both in cities and in neighboring valleys. The pull factors are the roman wall, "il Castello del Buonconsiglio" where did the "Concilio di Trento". Nowaday this building is a place where are held the most important events and exhibitions. you can visit the Dom Cathedral,Palazzo delle Albere the seat of Mart, Torre Civica where there is Diocesan Museum. Other attraction are the frescoes on facade of two Case Rella,it call "moral book". This frescoes rappresent the Virtue, Time and Luck. The push factors are organized by tourism promotion (APT). Very important are events on snow and sports. The traditional fairs, linked to the agricultural word,is rotated in the spring: that of Saint Joseph, of Scale, or Casolaro, dedicated to cheeses. The historical events, such as Vigiliane colorful festivals, which bring in an ancient battle scene with an outline of other events of the past, cosutmes, parades and races.

I live in a small town in Padova called Montagnana. The pull factors of my city are the ancient walls of 1200-1300. They are very well-conserved and many people come to visit them. Other attractions are the big Cathedral in the central square and many palaces of 17th century.

The push factors of Montagnana are the "Aldo Moro Hotel", a characteristic place where all tourists stay; there are a lot of festival, like the Festival of the Sweet Ham in May, the Animal's Festival in October and the most important, the Palio, a medieval-dressed-festival. The day of the Palio there are the Horses' race and the Burn of the Castle, which both attract so many people every year.

There are also the mountains where the tuourist can go to breathe fresh air. In the centre there are many things to visit, for example the castle "Malaspina", there is a " Palazzo Ducale", and many other wonderful things to visit about the culture. The Tourist are more attracted by food of my town that is very very good.

I live in a small village called Porcari that is about fifteen kilometres far from Lucca.
It is not a tourist village so there are not many hotels or restaurants or other type of accommodation. It is situated near bigger and more famous towns like Pisa, Firenze, Viareggio and other picturesque and medieval villages like Montecarlo, Altopascio. So it is a strategic place to be connected to different reality of the Tuscany:
in one hand touristy towns for people that love seeing famouse centres of tourism, and in the other hand quiet and small villages in the countryside for people the love escaping routine. So the tourists that arrive to Porcari have only to choose where to go ,following their preferences.

I come from Lucca. There are many tourists there, from January to December. The main pull factors of my village are the medieval setting with The Walls, many churches, towers (like Torre Guinigi) and picturesque little and old streets. There are also many events that draw the attention of tourists like “Settembre Lucchese”, “Lucca Comic’s and Games”, “Summer Festival”, “Murabilia” and many others.
Instead the push factors for the tourists who come to my city are the love of art, the love of good food and wine, the desire to be near to sea, mountain and hill. At the end also the desire to find accommodation to be close to the most famous sights in my region like Florence and Pisa.

I live in Sarzana a small village situated on the east side of the river Magra. It is in the centre of the territory called “ Lunigiana “ and therefore its natural capital city.
It’s a modern craft, agricultural and touristic centre with a great artistic property, keeping almost intact its features of a sixteenth – century walled village.
The main pull factor of my village is the medieval setting, indeed Sarzana is rounded by walls . Another pull factor of Sarzana is the “ Cittadella “ a typical medieval structure set over the village, besides in the Cittadella rise the beautiful Fortress of Firmafede. In this fortress in the summer have been organized the “ Calandriniana “ an exhibition of contemporary art ; that’s a very important pull factor because a lot of tourists come to Sarzana for visiting it.
Always in the summer the village of Sarzana organized the “ soffitta nella strada “ a very interesting antique fair, for me and for the most of tourists that come for this occasion.
The push factor are the love of art, of medieval structures, of exhibition and fairs. Or, not less important the love of good food! Sarzana has a lot of typical desserts as Buccellato and Spungata.

Hi teacher!I'm Laura, i live Massa, a little town in Tuscany. I think the pull factors are the sea and the beaches; the mountain where the tourist to go on lovely walk in the woods or have a walk beside the sea. In the centre there are Malaspinas' castle, the place of residence of Malaspinas'. Also there is "Palazzo Ducale" the beautiful palace sixteenth-century. There are another structure that tourist can visits: fountains, marble's statues, etc...So the tousist gives a wide range of options: this is a push factors, i think. In my little town the tourist relax itself between fun and culture. The tourist are usually attracted by traditional food as "tordelli" or sweet riso cakes.
