1st Year

Here is the course program for the students of the 1st year. Make sure you have a copy!

Please, do not buy used books in which other students have already written. It is useless to have a language book with the exercises already completed by someone else. Thank you.

The book which will be used in class with Gloria Cappelli is:

Cappelli, G. (2006), Sun, Sea, Sex and the Unspoilt Countryside. How the English language makes tourists out of readers, Second Edition, Pari: Pari Publishing.

Students are also required to have a copy of Murphy, R. (2004), English Grammar in Use, with answers, Cambridge University Press.

The students are required to read English as a Global Language They can choose the Italian translation: L’inglese come lingua globale, published by Pari Publishing.

For the lessons with Veronica Bonsignori and Rita Martella, students are required to have: English for International Tourism: Intermediate Coursebook: Intermediate Students Book (English for Tourism)
